If you fail to prepare, you prepare to fail. So, if you’re planning on investing time, money and effort on one of Help Me Tea’s programs, it’s worth preparing yourself and your pantry for taking on a whole new way of living.
Here are a few tips to help you get started:
Pass On The Processed Food
Go through your cupboards and clear out processed foods such as pasta, biscuits and cakes. Donate them to friends or throw them away. Resist the urge for a pre-program binge! This is about preparing to usher in a whole new you.
Walk Away From The Wicked
Sugar, nicotine, alcohol and caffeine are restricted on all of Help Me Tea’s programs. Throw away any caffeine-loaded black loose leaf tea in preparation for the incoming Help Me Tea range. Consider making a local charity happy by donating unopened bottles of alcohol to a fundraising raffle.
When life gives you lemons
Make a cup of hot-water and lemons. Stock up on filtered or mineral water and fresh lemons, as you’ll be drinking this every morning of your program.
Beautiful Bottles
Help Me Tea’s healthy eating programs include copious amounts of whole foods, healthy snacks and fresh fruits and vegetables. To keep these items safely stored, sealable jars and tins are needed. You can buy them new or find them second-hand. Wash and dry them well before use.
Opt for organic
Choose organic food wherever possible, in order to help reduce the toxins in your diet. Organic food is better for the environment as well as your body. If you can source it and afford it, organic options are preferred in Help Me Tea’s programs. It’s all part of eating clean.
Plan Your Diet
If possible, plan and shop for your food a week in advance. Make browsing our recipe guides a pleasure, pour yourself a cup of detox tea and make a list of the meals you’d like to try and the ingredients required.
Dodge The Dairy
Divest from dairy when purging your pantry. Milk, yoghurt, butter and cream aren’t included in Help Me Tea’s weight-loss and detox programs.
Go Green
Green, leafy vegetables form a substantial proportion of the ideal Help Me Tea diet. To maximise the nutritional value of these foods, they should be eaten as raw and fresh as possible.
